Elaine The Elephant is such an adorable book with the cutest illustrations about an elephant family. 🐘 Elaine is the very smallest elephant in her family so she has a rough time doing some things on her own. Zelah learned how nobody is born knowing how to do everything and the importance of asking for help and not giving up.

Chuck the Cheetah is about a super fast cheetah that always wins all the races he enters. He starts to think he is so much better than everyone because he never loses... until one day he finally does lose. 🐆 Zelah learned that you are still loved even when you don't win all the time and how it's so important to also encourage others.

Will and His Best Friend Whale is such a whimsical story about the importance of friendship and why we shouldn't bully others. 🐋 Zelah also learned all the dangers to our environment caused by plastic pollution.

Imbwa, The Story of the Dog and His Harsh Master is a story that is actually based on a Zambian Bemba Proverb. 🐕 This was my favorite book of the collection because it was about the importance of communication and friendship. I love the message of how when people are kind to others it creates joy and happiness in the person giving the kindness and visa versa.

Joe Finds His Way Home is a suspenseful story about Joe being stranded at school when no one comes to pick him up. 🏠 Joe was able to remain calm and figure out what to do. Zelah learned the importance of remaining calm during scary events.

Susie Strickland, Sizzling Striker is a cute story about soccer. ⚽ This was an excellent book to teach Zelah about how important it is to be a team player not only for yourself but also for others.

SPIKE AND SPUD THE SPACEBOYS is a favorite of ours because Zelah loves anything to do with planets, space and the solar system. 🌎 She does have trouble rhyming and the concept of rhymes so this book is a great way for me to encourage her to learn how to rhyme in a fun way about a subject she loves.

The Leopard Licks Its Spots is a fun book based on a Zulu proverb. It's about two adorable
leopards 🐆🐆 This book taught Zelah all about the important of friendship and being fair. It also teaches about how every action has a consequences.

DONK AND THE STUBBORN DONKEYS is an adorable story about the importance of keeping an open mind and how persistance pays of when you need to find an answer to a question.🐴

HARRY THE HONEST HORSE is a sweet story about why it's so important to be honest and to not let a joke go too far. 🐎 Zelah wanted this story read to her over and over and fell in love with the adorable horse illustrations.

POLLY THE POLECAT is a hilarious story about skunk siblings. 🦨 Zelah doesn't have any siblings so this was a fun way to teach her about asking others for help, self control and not to take things for granted.
