☘️ March was Women's History Month so I want to take a moment to recognize Angelina Dinicola who is an inspirational female role model of mine that I met during nursing school. ad. She has now advanced in the field and moved on to work as a nurse practitioner in women's health. She is a strong advocate for everything related to #womenshealth and the importance of regular Pap tests. Pap tests are such an important necessity for the early detection of abnormal cells that could possibly mutate into cancer cells. Did you know that cervical cancer used to be the #1 cancer killer of women but now it is #15- and that's all because of the Pap test. The Pap should be available to every woman no matter her community or income level! We all need to get involved and do everything we can to #ProtectThePap. Let's make sure that all women have the chance to inspire one another, stay healthy and make more history! Pap tests are one of the most important things we can do to make sure we all remain healthy.
