🔥 Did you know that you should not use ice, or even ice-cold water, on a burn. Extreme cold applied to a burn can further damage the tissue. The best way to treat a #minorburn is to run cool water (not cold or icy) for five to 10 minutes over a burn smaller than your hand. I burned my forearm on a frying pan yesterday but thankfully I had immediate pain relief! I simply put my wrist under cold water for 5 minutes and then applied one of these SilverSeal burn & wound dressing from @medagel_wellness and the healing began!

I always keep these handy in my medicine cabinet for skin injuries because they work wonders with all kinds of minor skin wounds. They're always super soothing plus have a moist & protective covering. One of my favorite things about them is how they're super easy to remove and don't damage or pull the wound or skin around it when taking them off. I like to use them on all kinds of different #superficialwounds like minor lacerations, abrasions and first degree burns plus they even work on sun burns.

When I worked home health care I remember using a similar product on my patients but at that time I thought it was only available with a doctor's prescription. These #silverseal wound dressings don't require an MD order and you can simply order them on Amazon. They're so versatile and great to have around for the whole family.
