📚 Zelah has special needs and enjoys attending her online public school classes every day. I'm grateful that she also receives the added benefits of one on one occupational therapy and speech therapy all through her public school. All of her teachers have been wonderful this school year and she has progressed beautifully. Every child is unique and when the right supports and interventions are available to meet their individual needs, our children can feel accepted and welcome at school. I've always been an advocate of public education and feel it helps shape the next generation.
Successful public schools like the one my daughter attends provides attention to its students based on their unique needs. It's so important for students to receive the resources they need to reach their full potential. All students need to feel accepted and valued, regardless of race, gender identity, special needs, religion, or anything else. It's also important that every child has access to the support they need by making sure schools are funded based on their students' needs, not their neighborhood. 👍 I believe our families, communities, and futures depend on the quality of education we provide for our children.
