🥁 Some exciting news about my Jimmy tonight!!! Drummer Jimmy Como will be submitting all his documentation in to set a new @guinnessworldrecords for fastest drum beats in one minute using single strokes with sticks with a time of 2130 bpm. The previous record was set in India in 2017 with a time of 2109 bpm. He said it wasn't even close to his fastest time but he is still excited about it and will be sending all the documented info to be verified #GuinnessWorldRecords. 🌎 The attempt took place on December 15 th 2020 at @skylabrecordingstudio @joshuatreerecordingstudio in #Joshuatree California with Tommy Dietrick acting as Guinness World Record Stewart overseeing and verifying the attempt. At the peak Jimmy was clocked at doing 40 single strokes in one second with a right left, right left pattern verified with #audiorecording as well as video recording slowed down to the ratio of taking one and a half minutes to count for every one second of the attempt. 🥁 When all was said and done the drum strokes were recorded three different ways with audio, video and a #drumometer which all verified the score of 2130 single strokes in one minute!!
