New Book! Always Eat After 7pm

I'm pretty happy with my current weight, but could stand to lose about 5 lbs, so I'm always looking for ways to maintain my current weight and lose a little. I'm also always looking for ways to increase my energy and feel better so I have the stamina to keep up with my busy mom life. I recently started reading a book to help me do all of the above. It's called “Always Eat After 7 PM” by Joel Marion. I always thought that eating late was not a good idea but have now learned through this book that studies have shown this not to be true at all. The author also talks about his own experiences with weight struggles and his own research. Joel decided to put his theory to the test and he had some amazing results! He lost 12 lbs in the first 2 weeks and 46 lbs after 16 weeks. He also noticed more energy and tighter abdominal muscles. I love the part where he mentions in his book:
“Having carbs in the evening is also a great weight loss strategy. When you’re active, your body burns mainly carbohydrates and muscle glycogen for energy. By eating carbs at night, you allow your body to use them to restore glycogen for energy the next day and provide your body with the glucose it needs to regulate your blood sugar levels during sleep.”
Considering I'm primarily looking for more energy this part about "By eating carbs at night, you allow your body to use them to restore glycogen for energy the next day" excited me most because I'm a stay at home mom and it does take a lot of energy to chase after a 5-year-old all day and most of the night.
