🧘♀️ I've had problems with chronic pain for years! Mostly due to problems with degenerative disc disease. I'm always on the look out for natural ways to relieve pain so I decided to give yogaforpainapp a try! I love everything about it! The app is hosted by Soph a yoga teacher who lives with Fibromyalgia, Scoliosis and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This is the first yoga app made specifically for pain sufferers like me.
I love how there are all kinds of different yoga classes to choose from that are specific to chronic conditions and pain areas. Slow Flow is a selection of vinyasa and hatha yoga inspired classes for pain sufferers. Yogility is a mix of yoga and mobility infused classes to increase your range of motion and reduce risk of injury. Seated Yoga is a selection of desktop and chair based yoga. Restorative yoga encourages rest and relaxation to improve and Breathwork and Meditation. I've tried most of the classes already and so far my favorites are in the Restorative yoga and the Yogility categories. This app isn't a chronic illness cure but it is a vital tool that I use daily to help me reduce pain and manage all my other symptoms. If you have chronic pain or any kind I totally recommend giving it a try!
